And So It Begins

Good old Glogger shows itself to be the same PoS it was when I dumped it years back. Bloogle... sorry, Google can't produce crap, so they buy a platform and simply turn it into crap.

I did a post with a video I found. Seems my cousin couldn't open it. I forgot to test it on my iPoop, so I opened the post  up. Nuthin'. The words were there, but no image or link to my video. WTF??!!

I s'pose I need to do some more research into blog engines and maybe stand-alone, self hosted platforms. Much as I'm tired of getting apps for this tablet of mine, I kinda would appreciate Google making one for this Blogger shit. Heck, they bug me everytime I open their search engine to d/l their SE app.

{{sigh}} Onward thru the fog, eh?

Obsession

Well, well. Ain't that a blast from the past. I haven't had an obsession to use in, like, forever. But, today, I had an obsession. To pick up a drug? No. My obsession was fucking cigarettes, smoking.

Lemme give you a run-down of my thought processes today. I had to go get some groceries for my dad today. This was my planning:
- Go to Sobey's to get some teryaki sauce (& buy some smokes!) No, they don't sell them...
- Walk to Giant Tiger & see if they have any burritos in (& buy some smokes!) Nuts...
- Go to Tim's for a steeped tea? (& buy some smokes at the gas station!) No...
- Need stuff from the Independent Grocer for the PC Points (& buy some fucking smokes, already!) geez...

My head was trying to find cigarettes everywhere. I got my teryaki, no burritos or tea, loaded up on PC points, avoided the Mac's store & got home with NO smokes! whew.....

I forgot how I was when I quit smoking (btw, I vape now). Everywhere I went, by bus or by walking, all my head was full of was cigs here & cigs there. Just get off the bus here and... Just pop into that convenience store there and...

Addiction. Ain't it a bugger??!!

Where Am I?

OK. Here we go. After being out and gladly away from Bloogle, wait, Glogger, no... Blogger, for the past 6 years or so, I'm back to give it another try. I left when Google took over the Blogger platform and absolutely destroyed how it worked.

I tried a Wordpress blog for a few years, but found the number of files needed to run php overly bloated. Plus, trying to adjust how it looked visually was a pain. Mind you, Blogger ain't no better...

I wish there was a blog I could integrate directly into my web page. And no, I do NOT want a Wordpress or Joomla website. Not with the issues I had trying to maintain a simple blog.

Oh well, I guess this is where I am. In the middle of no wheres. Time will tell...
